the man in the mirror

When you get up what you want in your struggle for life
AND the world makes you king for a day

THEN go to the mirror and look at yourself

and see what the MAN has to say.

For it isn't a man's father , mother or wife,
whose judgment upon him must pass as follow
whose verdict
count the most in his life is
the MAN staring back from the glass.

He's the follow to please , never mind all the rest
FOR he's with you clear up ends AND you've passed your most difficult test
if the MAN in the glass is your friend.

YOU can fear the whole world down the
pathway
of years get a
pat on your BACK as you pass

BUT your final reward will be tears.....
if you've CHEATED the man in the mirror

How to Celebrate Independence Day

Indian Independence Day is a holiday that celebrates the separation of India from Great Britain, and India’s declaration of independence. Traditionally, many people celebrate this day with picnics, parades, and outing.

1.      Hang  Indian flag from your house roof, car, or your work building. Look for other places to display the flag, such as on your bike or scooter, a string of flags (bunting) for a party in your yard or local park, or a large flag hanging from a window.

2.      Get a copy of the Declaration of Independence and read it. Read it to your kids. It's only about a page or two. It's one of the all-time greatest documents and that makes great reading. Remember what we fought for and why it's still worth fighting for.

3.      Dress up patriotically. Some citizens choose to wear clothes that have Indian flag design on them, or choose to wear the saffron, white or green. You can have a lot of fun trying to look as patriotic as possible using just these colours.
    1. Have someone to draw the flag on your cheek with washable finger paint.
    2. Wear a flag pin on your clothes.
    3. Paint Indian on your nails.

4.      Show your support by watching a local 15 August parade in your community or city. Be sure to wear a hat, apply sunscreen and bring your own water, so that you're comfortable all day.
    1. Get into the parade spirit by waving back at the participants or clapping.
    2. It's a good idea to bring a folding chair or blanket if there is a seating area.

5.      Enjoy a barbecue or picnic with family or friends. Get together around at least 1 pm or so to spend the afternoon together.

6.      Get active.  On 15 August and the days around it, there will be a number of festivities, dance displays, and other fun you can join in depending on where you live. It's best to check your local website, or the site of event organizers for exact details.

7.      Make crafts for Independence Day. If you have children, it's an ideal time to make crafts together to celebrate the day.
    1. Make Indian Flag Lapel Pin.
    2. Make a Homemade Paper Weight and paint it with patriotic designs and colours.
    3. Make a Greeting Card and use a patriotic theme and colours to design the cover and contents.
    4. Make a Glowing Star Lamp in patriotic colours and hang up at your home.
8.      Pop fireworks or attend a fireworks show provided by the city at night. Most cities and towns provide a fireworks display of some kind.

Love marriage vs arranged marriage.

So we are here to debate about “Love marriage and arranged marriage”. Though I am against all kinds of marriages because I am a married guy myself but still I think Arranged Marriages are better.

There are a few reasons behind why I like arranged marriages:

(1). Coz mine is a love marriage.

(2). Coz in arranged marriage you have someone to put the blame on.

(3). Coz the fights and the arguments starts when you totally know each other. And in arranged marriage it takes a lot of time.

(4). Coz it is more adventurous, exciting and surprising than the love marriages.

How exciting it would be to meet a totally unknown person who has no expectations from you. Both will try to impress each other which will make their lives more exciting and fun. Ah! This thought is tempting.

There are few reasons why I don’t like Love Marriages:

(1). More often love marriages proceeds like this:
We are made for each other.
We are mad for each other.
We are maid for each other.

(2). Marriages are made in heaven, but love marriages are made in Chinese Heaven. Never lasts longer.

(3). When you first fall in love you pretend to be a superhero to impress him/her. After marriage when they know the real you (because you don’t have to impress him/her anymore), big disappointment.

(4). When you screw up your love marriage there is nowhere you can find a shoulder to cry on. Plus your parents will scold you for not listening to them.

So these are the reasons why I prefer arranged marriage more than love marriage. Hope you enjoyed reading it. To get more subscribe here , APStalk

MBA=Mind your Business Anna

I'm back and unapologetic for my absence from bloggerspace.
Since life while an MBA is hectic to say the least. I guess by the end of the course I'll turn into Much Below Average instead of Master of Business Administration.

So when I'm asked the usual questions.....
Friend: Hey, long time no see!
Me: Yeah, good to see you after long. Have some time to catchup?
Friend: Sure, I've got all the time in the world! So what are you doing now-a-days?
Me: I'm studying MBA
Friend: Ooookay. So how is it?
Me: Let see (takes a deep breath)

  • Marketing does not mean a casual trip to the market anymore
  • How much ever I try to avoid, I end up using words like "motivation" for compliment, "disposable income" for pocket money.
  • I demand my raise in pocket money through a PowerPoint Presentation with a SWOT and PEST analysis and state my friend' pocket money variations as 'Competitor Study'

  • When somebody says 'Model', what pops to my head is GE or BCG
  • I've been unofficially banned from mega-marts like Hypercity, Food Bazaar and Big Bazaar as I keep hassling their male customers with questions like "Why haven't you tried fairness creams?" and irritate female customers with "At what distance do you hold your deodorant can from your armpit?"
  • Was appalled to know that one can generate a better revenue by selling cutting chai in a tapri in outside any college/ office as compared to preparing Tea at Taj
  • While eating Vada Pav on roadside, I end up asking the monthly turnover of their stall vis-a-vis McDonald's
  • I am told that a roadside vegetable vendor might make more money in a month without an MBA, than I will with my first ever salary immediately after MBA
  • People selling knick knacks in trains are no more sales persons but ' Budding entrepreneurs from Dharavi'
  • I day dream about Michael Porter, Philip Kotler and Steve Jobs
  • My Facebook relationship status reads 'In a Relationship with Marketing'!
Friend: (Staggers to leave) Ohhhkay... nice chatting up with you... gotta rush!
Me: I thought you said you 'had all the time in the world'!

why we need FRIENDS ? ? ?

we have initially in our lives born with mom dad grandfather grandmother n loads of relatives n they surely love us a lot. Then what the hell make us to go and make friends , why ours lives so much revolve around our friends and why we think of them and share our problems firstly to them only . IS this due to less love we are getting from our parents or they just becoz we think they dnt undrstand us............
i just wanna knw what is making our bond with frnds so strong n that's affecting our relations with our parents knowingly or unknowingly. IF we share that much love wid them , they will surely help us???
TRUE FRIENDSHIP EXITS? IF YES........THEN FOR HOW LONG N is it more valuable then the care n love shown by our parents n relatives?
IS enjoying bunking roaming n having fun together is true friendship??
So gals n guys come up wid ur views n thots n tell me reason behind ..,..why we r trapped in fake love n getting away from our parents... as its 100% true that friends will go or wont help "always"......

U & i

you say that I am beautiful,
you say that I am truthful,
your eyes are like a MIRROR,
it is you with whom I feel no terror.
but who are you? where are you?
how are YOU? however , i miss YOU.
you say that I am interesting,
BUT my heart is literary segmented.
ALL AROUND I CAN FEEL YOUR PRESENCE
however I have never had a chance to examine your senses.
I have never seen you,
so as to confirm your presence...
then how could i believe YOU!
your confidence shakes up every
evidence to prove you wrong
I don't want to be a marionette.
but have my own identity.
so if you can be mine
then please come to me
you and i will shine together.
